Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a electrical products Design Engineer (EV) - Solidworks. As a electrical products Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical products systems for electric vehicles using Solidworks software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create battery designs, perform simulations and analysis, and ensure industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and optimizing battery designs.Qualifications
- Graduate degree in engineering (Mechanical/related domains)
- 3-4 Years experience in Design Engineering for Electrical Products
- Work experience with electrical products (Batteries, cables, power distribution products, PCBA, etc.)
- Design and development of plastic/sheet metal parts, with an understanding of injection molds and press tools as an added advantage
- Experience in DFA/M of plastic, sheet metal, extruded parts, and knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes
- Expertise in CAD software, Solidworks is a must Knowledge of PLM tool
- Location: major OEM in Bangalore
