Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation : Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to electrical codes and standards.
• Maintenance : Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Repair : Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in wiring, outlets, and other electrical components.
• Upgrades : Upgrade electrical systems to meet current standards and improve efficiency.
• Compliance : Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Consultation : Advise clients on electrical system upgrades, repairs, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Safety : Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring.
• Precision in installing and repairing electrical systems to avoid hazards.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team
• Capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces.

Qualifications:

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational school diploma in electrical technology is preferred.
• Licensing : Relevant state or local electrical license or certification is typically preferred.
• Experience : Previous experience as an electrician, apprentice, or in a related field is advantageous.
• Certifications : Certifications such as National Electrical Code (NEC) certification or safety training certifications are beneficial.
