Job Description

: The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the office and manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations. The Electrician will also assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior electrical staff when necessary.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid electrician license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
