Job Title : Electrician

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team based in Kochi, Kaloor . The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment. This role requires excellent physical condition and flexibility, as the work may involve long shifts and overnight schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in industrial and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems and components using testing devices to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete electrical installations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong background in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to work with a variety of electrical systems, including lighting, power, control, and distribution systems.
• Excellent physical condition and the ability to work long shifts, including overnight when required.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electrical tools, instruments, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant electrical certification or training is preferred.
