Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:
• Install electrical systems and equipment including wiring, lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Repairs:
• Repair faulty wiring, electrical components, and fixtures.
• Replace or upgrade electrical panels, circuit breakers, and other critical components.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and safety codes.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and electrical hazards.
• Conduct safety inspections of electrical systems and report potential risks.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendations.
• Provide clear explanations of electrical issues and repair options.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and address client concerns promptly.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Complete service reports and document any issues or follow-up actions required.
• Prepare estimates for labor and materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Experience: 2 years of experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
