Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and a commitment to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our operations. As an Electrician in our manufacturing unit, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment essential to our production processes.
Responsibilities
• Installation : Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, conduits, lighting, motors, control systems, and machinery.
• Maintenance : Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Repairs : Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production machinery, control systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Compliance : Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed records of all electrical work, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
• Troubleshooting : Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Equipment Monitoring : Monitor electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.
• Collaboration : Work closely with production teams, maintenance personnel, and engineers to support manufacturing operations and improve system efficiency.
• Emergency Response : Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues to minimize production downtime and ensure safety.
Qualifications
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
• Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Licenses/Certifications : Valid electrician license; additional certifications in industrial automation or control systems are a plus.
• Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical code requirements.
• Skills : Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Technical Proficiency : Experience with industrial control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and automated machinery.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork : Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
