Job Description
A smart meter installer's job description includes:
• Installing smart meters : Fitting new smart meters and testing them
• Removing old meters : Safely replacing old meters with smart meters
• Maintaining and repairing meters : Maintaining and repairing smart meters, including communication units
• Explaining to customers : Explaining how smart metering systems work and the features of the new meter
• Using equipment : Using a variety of tools and equipment, including computerized fault-finding equipment
• Recording work : Recording parts used, work completed, and what is required
• Responding to emergencies : Attending emergency call outs and performing testing or repair work

Pay: ?8,485.61 - ?15,000.00 per month
