Electrical Validation Lead Engineer : Intel PSG (Programmable Solutions Group) business is entering an exciting new phase with transformative market penetration in data center, 5G wireless, and industrial market. We are looking for a lead engineer for high-speed transceiver, memory interface and other analog blocks validation. As an electrical validation lead, you will define validation requirement and develop validation content required to achieve required validation coverage. You will also drive execution toward tape-in quality, power-on readiness, and post silicon volume validation in alignment with the program milestone and Intel quality. This leadership role will have direct impact to product release cycle, provide ample opportunities for broad technical influence across organizations, and make huge impact on the business bottom line and hence personal growth. Conduct technical readiness for new structured ASIC products and define validation methodology for high-speed transceiver, memory interface and other complex analog blocks. Define validation coverage needs, test design requirement, board requirement to achieve functional validation coverage for various protocols. Prototype test designs in N-1 platform before hardening the logic in structured ASIC. Develop validation plan, validation content including automation scripts, and setup configuration to get ready for power-on Bring-up and debug test content post silicon and achieve protocol compliance. Guide customer pre-silicon enablement, customer power-on, and post silicon issue debug related to high-speed protocol interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, DDR memory. Guide and mentor junior engineers in the team to innovate and execute flawlessly. Qualifications Minimum requirements: BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 12+ years industry experience Post silicon validation experience required, especially experienced in high-speed electrical validation of one or more areas like PCIe, Ethernet, DDR memory interfaces. Deep understanding of signal integrity, signal processing concepts highly desirable. Exposure to RTL design or FPGA design is a plus. Excellent problem solving and debug skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven and self-starter Ability to work in a dynamic environment and build relationship across organizations.
