Job Description

Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, and instrumentation, to ensure efficient and safe operation of manufacturing processes. Collaborate with project teams to define and implement electrical requirements for new manufacturing facilities and equipment installations. Conduct regular system inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruptions to production. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, assisting with equipment optimization and troubleshooting. Participate in the development and implementation of electrical standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, motors, and instrumentation. Well versed with safety, electrical standards and statutory requirements for electrical installation and maintenance, such as Earth Pit Periodical inspections and exposure to routine CEIG Inspections. Preferred Skills Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with electrical safety regulations, such as NFPA 70E and IEC standards. Should be qualified from CEIG approved \'C\' certificate license holder Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Exposure to Instrumentation and DCS environment in a chemical plant will be preferred.
