Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and resolve faults.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
• Assist in the installation and setup of electrical control systems and other electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other team members on electrical projects.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical work and prepare reports as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical systems and technology.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control systems.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, including testing devices and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
