Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within our properties. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring safety and efficiency in all electrical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and installation projects across multiple properties.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to determine project specifications and layout.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations in all projects and activities.
• Plan and schedule electrical work assignments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control wiring, lighting systems, heating, and air conditioning systems as required.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior electricians and technicians, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
• Collaborate with other departments and external contractors to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in a real estate or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including heating, air conditioning, and various testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics proficiently.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in electrical systems is preferred.
• Valid electrical supervisor license or certification as required by state regulations.
