Job Description

Electrical Lead should have experience of independent handling of electrical systems of complete FGD, CHP and ESP systems. He / She must have led team of engineers and designers for basic and detailed engineering of at least one project. In addition , must have experience of preparing tendering document for electrical packages and BOQ estimation for proposal. Sound knowledge of Electrical detail engineering for FGD,CHP & ESP Plant including preparation of Electrical deliverables like equipment sizing calculation- transformer, Diesel Generator, Battery, UPS, cables-EHV, HT, LT, Control Grounding, Lightning Protection, Illumination system design, system study calculation- Relay setting & coordination, Short circuit calculation, motor starting calculation, load flow study. Should be able to provide required inputs / guidance to design team on Single Line diagram, Cable tray sizing and layout, cable schedule, Cable interconnection diagrams, Equipment Layout, Earthing layout, lighting layout, Electrical & Control room layout, switchyard layout, Relay and metering diagram, Erection Key diagram. Sound knowledge of Layout Interface check, 3D modelling, Knowledge of reviewing Physical design of MCC room, Central control room, Installation Drawing, Cable schedules, Tray layout, Earthing and lightning Layout and lighting layout. Must be conversant with Specification preparation, Bid evaluation & Vendor drawing review of all major Electrical packages like transformer, switchgear, busducts, DG set, battery, UPS, cables, substation equipment etc. Must be able to lead discussion with vendors independently. Electrical support engineering for Specification / Bid evaluation/ Vendor drawing review of Mechanical packages, Mechanical GA and plot plan etc. Engineering Support for testing & commissioning at site of major electrical equipment, arranging drawing/document approval from customer within agreed project schedule. Proposal Engineering activities like preparation of pre-bid queries, release engineering deliverables for technical bid submission, release specification of major electrical items & BOQ preparation, site-visits.
