Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toSenior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity and preparing equipment layout. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore or Chennai, India You will be mainly accountable for: Preparing equipment layout, section, earthing layout design, cable routing or cable tray layout, cable schedule, termination schedule preparation, Interconnection diagram, bus duct layout, lighting layout, lightning layout, rubber mat layout, switchgear and panel fixing arrangement drawing, MCT layouts. Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Prepare Engineering Schedule in line with agreed document deliverable list, matching engineering portion of project schedule. Develop Schematics for Control and Protection Panels, Synchronizing Panels, MV and LV Switchgears based on project specific requirement in EPLANQualifications for the role

• Bachelors /Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Power Engineering.
• Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience for Plant Engineering.
• Proficiency in using design tools like earthing, lighting calculation tools etc.,
• Experience in Plant Engineering Activities for Oil & Gas, E-Houses- FPSO, Container Substation Projects Preferred
• Development of Panel Drawings in E-Plan will be added advantage.
• Tools: AutoCAD-2D/3D, DIAlux /Relux , Navisworks-CATIA/SolidWorks, EPLAN
• Exposure to Plant Design Software like AVIVA E3D/SP3D will be preferred.
