Key Responsibilities



The Electrical Maintenance In-Charge will lead the electrical maintenance team within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems and machinery.



This role requires a licensed professional having experience in electrical maintenance, particularly within a manufacturing setting.


Team Leadership:


• Supervise and mentor a team of electrical maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


• Schedule and assign daily tasks, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workload management.


Maintenance Oversight:


• Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.


• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.


Troubleshooting and Repair:


• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical issues, providing technical guidance and support to team members.


• Oversee the repair and replacement of electrical components, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to manufacturing operations.


Project Management:


• Manage electrical projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications, ensuring completion within budget and timelines.


• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement improvements in electrical systems.


Safety and Compliance:


• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations, local, state, and federal electrical codes.


• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions and training as needed.


Documentation and Reporting:


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.


• Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.


Budget Management:


• Assist in the development and management of the electrical maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource allocation.





Licenses/Certifications:



• Valid 33KV electrical license issued by state government is a must





Qualification



:



• B.Tech. / B.E. in electrical engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• MBA preferred





Experience



:



Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations in a manufacturing context.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.


• Strong communication, Presentation and interpersonal skills.
