ob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated electrical engineer to join our molding company's engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment used in our molding processes. This role requires a strong understanding of automation, control systems, and electrical design principles to ensure efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing electrical systems and components for molding machines and related equipment.
• Collaborating with mechanical engineers and technicians to integrate electrical systems into overall machine designs.
• Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for process control and automation.
• Conducting electrical system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes in all designs and installations.
• Developing and maintaining documentation including electrical schematics, manuals, and operating procedures.
• Providing technical support to production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical design and automation within a manufacturing environment, preferably in molding or plastics industry.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design.
• Familiarity with electrical control systems, servo drives, sensors, and actuators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotics and robotic integration.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with energy management and optimization strategies.
• Project management experience.
