Job Description

Conducting Electrical Tests:

Performing a variety of electrical tests on components, systems, and prototypes.

Data Collection and Reporting:

Accurately documenting test results and preparing reports.

Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:

Maintaining, calibrating, and repairing lab equipment, including instruments and tools.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Identifying and resolving electrical issues with components and systems.

Safety Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulations within the lab.

Experiment and Test Setup:

Preparing samples, equipment, and test setups for experiments.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintaining detailed records of experiments, test results, and lab procedures.

Collaboration:

Working with engineers and other technicians on projects.

Inventory Management:

Assisting with ordering, receiving, and managing lab supplies and equipment.

Wiring and Prototyping:

Assisting with wiring electrical equipment, electronics, and sensors, as well as building prototypes from schematics.
Required Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices. Hands-on experience with lab equipment and tools. Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation. Proficiency in using various testing instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
