The Role


• Main responsibility will be to design, size, electrical panels, wiring schemes, junction box and cabinets for standard and custom orders.
• Perform electrical systems design and calculations, and electrical sizing.
• Develop electrical equipment specifi cations/datasheets, electrical system drawings (single line diagram, control schematics, etc) andelectrical layout drawings.
• Produce engineering documentation such as 2-D schematics, 3-D models and assemblies, Production Assembly Drawings (PADs), partrequirement drawings.
• Use appropriate tools [AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, MS Excel, Medusa).Profi ciency in EPLAN to expedite and improve productdesigns, wiring diagram and system layout.
• Identify design errors, omissions, and other defi ciencies, and recommend revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsibleengineers or designers

Create bills of material for electrical panels and components.
• Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems..
• Elaboration, study and calculation of project specifi cation electrical cables, electrical cables schedule - power cables
• Designing and estimation of power, control and instrumentation systems for Engine/ Motor driven compressors Switchgear & Instrumentssizing and selection Panel layout design Wire Harness design Cable selection.
• Design of ATEX related control circuits either in the safe or hazardous area, ATEX relevant calculations and documents to show compliance,functional safety, knowledge of relevant ATEX standards. Writing of control philosophy.
• Review vendor equipment design/data.
• Interface with other engineering teams as needed and work with groups outside of engineering including suppliers, contractors,manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and service in order to fulfi ll project needs.
• Support existing install base of control systems and resolve follow up installation issues.
• Collaborate with fi rmware, mechanical, and factory test engineers, developing cohesive, elegant solutions.
• Assist proposals and projects team for their engineering documentation as desired and agreed with end user/ client..
• Develop, plan, and execute testing methods of panels along with compiling and analyzing the test data to determine eff ect of design onproducts, systems, or equipment.
• Develop or assist in developing specifi cations for selecting components and equipment to use.
• Defi ning requirements so products meet customer needs and expectations.
• Ensuring high product performance through the proper hardware component choices.
• Qualifying modifi cations to existing designs through rigorous test standards and processes.

What we expect of you?


• Degree in an Electrical / Instrumentation discipline with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with EPLAN for electrical design.
• Knowledge about codes that pertain to hazardous locations, motors, cables..
• Experience in industrial electrical design
• Background in design and manufacturing panels/ JB in the oil and gas, pharma, industrial and any allied industry.
• Experience with analog, digital, and electro-mechanical circuits, and components, which may include voltage and currentregulators, FETs, LCDs,.microprocessors, relays, motors, switches, solenoids
• Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and a problem solver who works well within a team.
• First experience with EPLAN Preplanning is appreciated.
• Experience using AutoCAD for electrical design.
• CAD experience with emphasis on 2D and 3D.
• Previous experience in electrical design with CAD tools for industrial projects is appreciated.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Offi ce (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Knowledge of SAP and MS Project advantageous.
• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
