PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in various field environments.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations.

SKILLS & JOB COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety codes.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces, if required.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites in different locations.

KEY ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment (e.g., control panels, motors, transformers).
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems function efficiently and safely.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Collaborate with clients and other departments to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Document all work activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer reports.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?250,000.00 - ?350,000.00 per year
