Job Description

The Electrical Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing and developing accurate cost estimates for electrical engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. The Electrical Estimation Engineer collaborates closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with project requirements. Responsibilities: o Estimate Preparation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical systems and components. o Develop detailed bill of materials (BOM) and labour estimates for electrical projects. o Estimate Preparation: Utilize estimation software and tools to create and manage estimates. o Cost Analysis: Evaluate the cost of materials, labour, equipment, and other project-related expenses. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for value engineering. o Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements and ensure accurate cost estimation. o Project Coordination: Review and update estimates as project requirements evolve. o Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid documents. o Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services. Evaluate and compare vendor proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications. o Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and supporting documentation. Prepare and present estimation reports to management and clients. o Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering and estimation Participate in training and development activities to enhance estimation skills and knowledge.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month

• Electrical estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
