Good Verbal/written communication skills and customer communication skills.
Must have AutoCAD, Altium Designer skill set (including VIEW creation, options and Variants) or any other CAD tool.
Knowledge on electrical/electronic component selection
Understanding of end-to-end parameters of electrical/electromechanical components such as Switch gear items like MCB, MCCB, contactors, fuses, relays, switches, SSR, RF Generators, Sensors, Filters etc.
Knowledge on cable and harness design
Knowledge on Wiring diagram and Block Diagram design
Knowledge on Industrial standards (UL508A, SEMIS22, NFPA, IPC-A-620 and so on)
Knowledge of component End of life management & Compliance certification
Experience in design configurable modules, Design circuits, Design & maintain control boards
Test & validate modules.
Knowledge in Engineering change management
Basic Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Pro-E or Solid works)
Knowledge of PLM system
Key Responsibilities:
Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision
Creating Cable design drawings and wiring diagrams
Bill of Material creation and manufacturer identification
Electrical component selection based on application
Perform basic engineering analysis under general supervision
Perform and generate basic engineering test reports under general supervision
Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with mechanical team to validate the electrical concepts w.r.t. mechanical design
Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems
Implement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty
Assist in development of electrical product specifications
