Job Title: Design - Electrical Engineer Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacturing of electrical equipment, components, and systems. This role requires collaboration with various teams and disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design and develop SLD, TRANSFORMER DESIGN, MCC, CABLE SIZING AND
- Create detailed schematics, layouts, and design documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for potential new projects.
- Testing and Evaluation:
- Perform testing and analysis of electrical components and systems.
- Evaluate performance and safety of designs and recommend improvements.
- Develop test plans and ensure products comply with industry standards and
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and highquality
- Prepare cost estimates and work within project budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Identify and resolve technical issues in existing designs and products.
- Provide support during the production and testing phases of new products.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain thorough documentation of designs, test results, and project progress.
- Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3-8 years) in electrical engineering design and
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of electrical design principles and best practices.
- Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance (e.g., IEC, UL, NEC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with PLC Automation system
- Familiarity with power electronics and control systems.
