Our employees develop innovative solutions to technological challenges.The role we are offering you:Be part of a team responsible for electrical designAssist in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements from both internal/external customersAssist in the definition of the simulator equipment configuration, produce equipment lists, wiring diagram and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environmentParticipate in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements for both internal and external customersDefine and prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated panels/instrumentsParticipate in design activities between different engineering groups and manufacturingParticipate in technical and conformance evaluations for simulated panels/instrumentsWork in a team environment performing design at the system and component levels of flight simulatorsResponsible for designing manufacturing, assembly and installation drawingsWork closely with the senior engineering staff to generate cost effective solution to meet our customer requirementsFind technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projectsParticipate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs)Troubleshooting and problem-solvingFlexibility to work outside core hours requiredOur ideal candidate has:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Degree or EquivalentStrong knowledge of electrical engineering conceptsExcellent team spirit and good communication skillsGood working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing/spreadsheet softwaresExperience with electrical signal distribution/interconnection technology, interface packaging, and power supply/distributionKnowledge of aircraft instrumentation, D/A A/D conversion, serial communication data busses such as RS-232/422, USB, and of the ARINC 429, ARINC 600 and Mil-1553 standard would be considered an assetExperience with E2A, SEE Electrical, Powerdraft, an assetProficient with MS-Office toolsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesCome share your passion with us!#LI-DP1Position Type RegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
