Job Title Electrical Designer Job Title: Electrical Designer Summary In this role, you have the opportunity to work with the product configurations team, to drive both New Product and Life Cycle Management activities, which meet customer needs, cost goals, and schedules. Responsible for managing configurations and BOM structures to support customer & product change requests. Create and manage various configurations for products in the Ultrasound portfolio that are present in the global catalog. Support quality improvement initiatives w.r.t configurations for various product lines. Interface with R&D, Marketing, Service, and Procurement teams to gather and prioritize requests for product configuration changes. Planned, led, and tracked change requests and provide status to internal and external stakeholders effectively. Role Responsibilities Involve in all phases of a design project, including specification and architectural design, detailed circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and test Participate in the development of various HW modules (E.g. Acquisition modules) for the ultrasound imaging systems Create Requirements documentation, specify the design and Theory of Operations, schematic block diagrams with data, control, clock, and power paths, and develop the PCBA board-level test plan Prepare Software Interface Control Document (ICD) Make a layout or supervise layout designers for the physical implementation of designs. Provide lifecycle design support. Participate in design reviews Design test benches and develop simulation tests for the board being developed. Work with software engineers to integrate PCBA into the final system Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary cross-functional team effectively to realize results Consciously be a part of workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization. Encourage Continuous improvement opportunities and innovation in Analog/Mixed signal HW design domain in-line with Ultrasound product and Business context. Keep up-to-date with requisite skills in design tools and infrastructure (E.g. Matlab/Simulink/Python) You are a part of the Ultrasound R&D team - in Pune. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience. Master/Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 8+ years of Analog/Mixed Signal design experience. Strong understanding of engineering design principles. Understanding of the HW development processes. Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment Experience in any of the design tools and infrastructure (E.g. Matlab/Simulink/Python) and techniques is an added advantage Knowledge of Regulatory requirements such as FDA, NMPA, etc. is an added advantage. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems Fast learner with a system thinking mindset and interest to learn new technologies/business/systems.
