Designation - Assistant Manager - Electrical Design

Location - Moraiya(Sanand),

Experience : More than 7 +years (Must have worked in a machine manufacturing company)

Graduation: B.Tech/ B.E(mandatory)

Working hours/days - 8:30 to 5:00. Mon to Sat

Knowledge of Design Software tool - Auto cad ,Solid Work.

Requirements

• Electrical & Control design for Automation, FMCG, F&B, Pharma, Electronics Mfg., End of Line (EOL)
• Automation, Machine Manuf. (OEMs) Facilities or Industry Engineering experience is preferred.
• Working & designing for Industrial Robotics systems is highly preferred.
• Hands on experience in preparation of single line diagrams and panel IGA & OGA drawings,
• Schematics based upon technical specifications, requirement of customer.
• Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and heads.
• Knowledge of UL, IEC, NEMA, CE and other standards
• Able to produce electrical design on a multi-discipline project.
• Proficiency in the use of e-plan, solid-works, AutoCAD software is required.
• Should be ready to travel approx. 10% to 20% work time based on actual requirements only.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, suppliers and vendors.
• Must possess good general computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Responsibilities
• Design Engineering, implement, and maintain, and Improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, Components, Products, and systems for commercial & industrial purposes.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and customer requirements.
• Design of Electrical Panels for LV, HV systems. Coordination with vendors & suppliers for Electrical Panel related solutions.
• Power distribution, calculations including switchboards, panel boards, transformers, wire sizing,voltage drop, conduit fill, cable tray sizing and fill, cooling calculations, etc.
• Perform calculations & selection of Motors, Drives, AC, Load calculations & Cable selections based upon application & design standards.
• Selection of Motors, Drives, PLC and IO modules, Sensors systems, Communications & others.
• Selection of sensors (analog, digital), accessories, special electronics devices, auxiliaries, electrical utilities, Ratings & Specifications and dealing with vendors & suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Preparation of design criteria, one-line diagrams and specification for electrical equipment.
• Create electrical schematics, generate BOM & strong intra dept. communication.
• Power utility coordination Selection and sizing of UPS for electronics system and three phase inverters.
• Industrial control panel design- Robots, PLC systems, RIO stations, Inverters, Power distributions,Protection Systems, etc.
• Design electrical wiring and conduit drawings using e-plan, solid works, AutoCAD, etc.
• Help resolve EE oriented Change Request Notices and Request for Information,
• Prepare Network plan for the machine.
• Prepare grounding and bonding plan for new equipment.
• Develop electrical drawings using e-plan, solid works, AutoCAD, etc.
• You should provide support to onsite engineers.
• Guide & train the Jr Electrical design engineers.
• Document project details, including specifications, design, and testing, MOMs, modifications, etc.
• Providing regular reports, briefings and reviewing as required using the agreed processes
