Job Description

Design and Development: Develop transformer designs based on customer requirements and industry standards.Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed design drawings and schematics.Perform electromagnetic and thermal simulations to validate design concepts.Select appropriate materials and components to meet design specifications.Technical Analysis:Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and performance of transformer components.Perform loss calculations and optimize designs for energy efficiency.Evaluate and implement design changes to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Prototyping and Testing:Oversee the creation of prototypes and coordinate with the production team for assembly.Develop test plans and procedures to validate the performance of prototypes.Analyze test data and modify designs as necessary to meet performance criteria.Project Management:Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure smooth project execution.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals.Client Interaction:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their specific needs and provide technical support.Present design concepts and solutions to clients and gather feedback for iterative improvements.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the production and field operation stages.Compliance and Standards:Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory requirements.Stay updated on the latest advancements in transformer technology and industry best practices.Participate in industry forums and standards committees as needed.Qualifications:a) Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.b) Experience: 3-5 years of experience in transformer design or a related field.c) Skills:Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.Strong understanding of electromagnetic principles and thermal management.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
