Electrical Design Engineer Requirements Education: BE /B Tech - Electrical Experience: 3 - 4 years Domain Knowledge Required: Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles. Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing/presenting recommendations for review/approval. Good written and oral communication skills. : Manage all electrical design aspects of the assigned project and be responsible for meeting project commitments including design releases, schedules, and material selection. Interface with customer and be the technical point of contact for the design project. Proficient in AutoCAD or later with high degree of skill in using smart blocks and assigning attributes in the design drawings. Creates and revises production drawings (detail and assembly drawings). Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, electrical connections required and interconnection requirements for the entire project. Utilizes knowledge of design engineering practices, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings. Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of electrical panels and control systems. Draws finished designs from sketches. Follows Drafting and Industry norms (UL/IEC) and company\'s engineering standards. Follows and maintains an organized file system for production drawings. Communicates with QA, engineering, and manufacturing regarding new and revised prints. Personal Attributes: A person with high energy levels and openness to learn new things.
