Job Description

:

We are seeking Electrical Cum Mechanical Engineer/Diploma Holder with 10-15 years of experience in the fasteners manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems within our production facility. This role requires strong technical expertise in both disciplines to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment used in fasteners manufacturing.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous operation.

Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime and optimize productivity.

Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance and repair tasks according to production schedules.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on electrical and mechanical systems and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and engineering to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

10-15 years of progressive experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the fasteners industry.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming, motor controls, and industrial automation.

Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices related to industrial manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification or license in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (e.g., P.E., P.Eng., C.E.T.).
