Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing electrical Building Information Models (BIM) for a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and other BIM software.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
• Create and update electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams within the BIM environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM model.
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material lists from the BIM models.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in BIM technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler or similar role.
• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software (Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in modeling and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in BIM or related areas.
• Experience with energy modeling and sustainability practices.
• Familiarity with project management software.
