Role & responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for our special purpose machines and equipment. The role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical controls into our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of industrial automation technology and drive innovation in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical control systems for special purpose machines and

equipment.

2. Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for machine

automation. The control systems used are Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Mitsubishi and

Delta / Panasonic.

3. Design HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for user-friendly machine operation

and monitoring.

4. Collaborate with mechanical engineers and designers to integrate electrical controls

into overall machine design.

5. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure functionality and

reliability.

6. Provide technical support to production teams during the manufacturing and assembly

of machines.

7. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all electrical designs.

8. Candidate should be result oriented and should have job focus to complete the job on

hand even if means doing some tasks which are outside normal responsibility

(particularly when working at customer sites).

Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-Functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities. Willingness to learn and stay updated with new technologies and methodologies in electrical controls engineering.
