: Panel Wiring Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wiring Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications. The Panel Wiring Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our control panels, contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Panel Assembly: Assemble control panels according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications provided by the engineering team.

2. Wiring and Termination: Wire control panels, including routing and terminating wires, cables, and connectors as per design requirements.

3. Component Installation: Mount and install electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, PLCs, and other devices onto panel backplates or enclosures.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform functional testing of assembled panels to ensure proper wiring, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.

5. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure panel functionality.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of panel assembly, wiring diagrams, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly process.

7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout the panel assembly process, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with relevant standards.

Requirements:

- Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical/Electronics or related field.

- Proven experience as a Panel Wiring Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, components, and assembly techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment commonly used in panel wiring and assembly.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
