We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EIA Coordinator (Mining) to join our Team. As a EIA Coordinator(Mining) , you will play a crucial role in facilitating and managing projects.

Responsibilities:

An EIA Coordinator(Mining) should have broad knowledge about the project, as well as the probable environmental, ecological and social impacts.

The role of the EIA Coordinator (Mining) includes, but not be limited to, studying and understanding the project, setting-up the team, visiting the site with the team, drawing up the terms of reference (TOR), organizing various activities to meet the requirements of the TOR for EIA, evolving work schedule and ensuring that data are appropriately utilized for generating baseline, interpreting the data, assessment of probable impacts, preparation of mitigation and monitoring plan and maintenance of necessary records.

Knowledge of the applicable standards, Acts, Rules and regulations.

Domain knowledge and understanding of the project for which EIA Reports are to be prepared.

Site Visits, Preparation of application for grant of EC and ToR for Mining sector-specific projects, EIA report Writing, Presentation at SEAC/EAC, Follow-Ups, etc.

Leadership quality in planning, selecting and guiding the EIA team.

Complete understanding about the project specification .

Develop broad scoping of the project taking into consideration site specific requirement

Meeting the project proponent, preferably with key FAEs, for an in-depth understanding of the activities

Developing the draft EIA Report and circulating the same amongst team members for final feedback and ensuring completeness of the report.

Must be acquainted with latest state and national policies, Guidelines/Rules/legislation, Act and Amendments related to water regime and relevant areas.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional travel to project sites and meetings.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's (Graduate) degree or equivalent in technical subjects such as Engineering, Technology, Environmental Planning, Town Planning and the like from a UGC /AICTE recognized university/ institution.

Master's (Post-graduate) degree in Science Environmental Sciences from a UGC/AICTE recognized university/ institution

Experience

Work experience after acquiring eligible qualification of minimum 7 years for an EC for category A projects and 5 years for an EC for category B projects
