We are hiring for EHS Officer !!!

Location : Ambernath (Thane)

Qualification Required : BE - Mechanical/Electrical

Experience Required : 5+ years with manufacturing industry

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the manufacturing environment
• Develop and implement effective safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on workplace safety and hazard awareness.
• Monitor and manage environmental impact within the manufacturing facility (waste management, water usage, emissions, etc.).
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits, and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare documents, policies & procedures related to safety
• Oversee and track hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal to comply with environmental standards.
• Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure they are conducive to the health and safety of employees.
• Maintain records of environmental, health, and safety activities, including inspections, audits, and training sessions.
• Conduct training programs for employees on EHS practices, regulatory requirements, and emergency preparedness.
• Conducting internal audits as per the IMS standards.
• Provide regular training's as per the training calender.
• Ensure the safety practices are in line with the Factories Act 1948

Key Skills Required :

• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS management software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present EHS data and recommendations to various audiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?500,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
