Drives continuous improvement in EHS Culture within the organisation. Ensure effective communication & collaboration. Maintain documentation and EHS compliance towards all applicable statutory rules & regulations. • Implementation of Group EHS Management System (protocols, standards, policies, etc) across the plant from initial set-up of the new plant
• Engaging all workmen into key Safety programs via effective training and communication
• Support all functions in preparing or conduct HIRA / JSA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment / Job Safety Analysis) study of all the process and activities of the plant
• Develop and implementation of Permit to Work System at site as applicable
• Maintain liaison relations with all Government Officials / Statutory Bodies.
• Conduct Internal Safety / EHS audits,BBS visits, Safety Inspections to assess the gaps or identify scope for improvement in site specific Safety / EHS systems as per Group requirement
• Coordinate and Lead towards implementation of Environment Management System and 5 S activities at site
• Conduct Aspect & impact study under EMS on Sites and suggest appropriate solutions to the management to address / fix the issues.
• Support / train Site Management on Incident / Accident Investigation to identify the actual root cause (RCA) and suggest them appropriate safety measures to prevent its recurrence
• Implementation & sustenance of IMS (Integrated Management System - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Apply & obtain fresh or renewal of Consents, Approvals, Permits & NOC\'s from time to time from relevant Government Authorities. Submission of returns / forms / documents as per regulatory requirements
• Conduct periodic Workplace EHS monitoring and shall ensures effective functioning of STP & ETP

Profile/Competencies Education, background, level of experience Education Requirement :BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BSc (PCM). Must be a regular program. PG Diploma in Industrial Safety / ADIS (1 year regular program) from recognized by the Government and inline with Factories Act 1948 requirements. Experience : 8-10 years of experience in the field of EHS in manufacturing plants.
