Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. India Responsibilities Ensure/provide a safe and healthy environment to our people and to our contractors. Minimize impacts on the Environment, reduce Risk level. Protect Alstom assets and reduce risks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes, & other hazardous condition. Perform regular site EHS inspection, weekly Site EHS inspection, Monthly Site EHS Inspection. Implement customer EHS Requirement (Audits, Inspection, Trainings) Cooperate with the internal resources to achieve EHS objectives (like Mock drill\'s, Training, Reduction in Incident) Support the Site EHS Manager to perform EHS Risk Assessment and to define appropriate measures to control risks. Support the EHS Site Manager to prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans. Assist Site EHS Manager to coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas. Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to equipment, fire, environmental pollution. Recognize the best practices and the good performance. Having the ability to say NO for unsafe work and condition, Provide the pragmatic solution on the same. Advise other Site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities. Support the Site EHS Manager to develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards ( ISO 14001 and ISO45001 ). Support the Site EHS Manager to ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed at Site level. Assist the Site EHS Manager to ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions. Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements. Support the EHS Site Manager to capture, report, record, investigate and analyze accidents/incidents in order to implement corrective and preventive actions. Carry out inspections of work areas and carry out EHS audits and report any discrepancy to the site team. Inform, instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement. Participate in the implementation of the site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring tool box meeting are organized Location - Indore / Bhopal -India Qualification Required: 1) Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety& 2) Environmental Management(PGDISEM) 3) M.E. in Industrial Safety from NIT, 4) B.E. in Fire and Safety Eng. 5) B.E. with advanced Safety Management Diploma 6) B.E / B.Arch., with one year Full Time advanced Safety diploma 7) B.E/B. Tech full time Degree / Diploma in Safety. 8) International qualifications, CSP(Certified Safety Professional), NEBOSH, MIOSH, MSISO etc. Experience Required : 10 to 12 years preferably from Metro Rolling Stock industry.
