• Implementation of EHS management program at site with implementation of Global standards.
• Sustain and strengthen work permit system of site. Upgrade the same from time to time.
• Ensure that routine inspection and maintenance of installed fixed and portable firefighting equipment\'s and fire detection system as per schedule is taking place and close the gaps immediately.
• Monitoring performance of Effluent management system including MEE, ATFD, RO units.
• Support ESG initiatives at the site.
• Renewal of license from the authorities like Pollution board, PESO, CGWA, Factory inspectorate and ensure timely compliance of the same.
• Review of water balance, VOC balance, energy conservation measures at site.

Short Description

• Monitor the daily activities of Fireman for conducting inspections of emergency systems.
• Conduct firefighting training and emergency plan training to all employees and contractors.
• Prepare HAZMAT and MOCK drill procedures and conduct the periodical drills in the plant.
• Prepare PPE matrix for the site. Select and provide proper PPE and Emergency safety equipment for employees
• Conduct toolbox training to contractors and do annual performance review of contractors.
• To conduct training need identification for contractors and prepare training calendar accordingly.
• Promote reporting of unsafe act and unsafe condition amongst employees and contractors.
• Organization of Induction & refreshing safety training for Company as well as contractor employees
• Conduct Risk assessment, JSA as and when required.
• Monitor compliance calendar of site. Prepare and update time to time regulatory register of the site
• Prepare emergency response plan for the site and update the same time to time
• Investigation of incidents at site, define CAPAs for the same and monitor the same for execution.

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech/Diploma - Chemical or B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry with 5 - 7 years of experience
