Your RoleContribute to the businesss development of Oil & Gas segment (Identification of new market/client from O&G, Vendor registration & Increase sales) of Edwards brand Industrial Vacuum pump range in the highly potential territories of North & East IndiaTo become and remain market leader in the Oil & Gas segment for the Industrial vacuum range in the assigned territoriesAs a Sales or Sr. Sales engineer person, you are solely responsible for developing business of Edwards brand industrial vacuum pump solutions from the Oil & Gas petrochemical segment within the defined territories (Northern & Eastern India) allocated to you with an objective of increasing the sales, market presence and market share within the limits of Vacuum Technique structure and guidelines. Along with your sales target you will be responsible for followingMain Responsibilities:

  • Creat the data base for vendor registration docuemtns.
  • Responcible for do at all OIL & GAS PSU (EIL, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, HMEL, HRRL, CPCL, Gail, Petronas, Mecon, etc) and all OIL & gas EPC, PMC, Licensors.
  • Colletect the data from Edwards UK/ internal stakholder, divisional office of the Edwards to present the suitable sollutions to customer
  • Genrate the leads and update the all upcoming projects information, keep track of the future projects and update all reports to O&G Manager.
  • Visit to PSU and PMC to collect the market information and share it to internal stake holders.
  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services, and support to S&S (Systems & Solutions) get the documents approval during the post order from EPC/PMC/PSU.
  • Provides product or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Establishes new clients within the defined business territory by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule along with sales manager.
  • Collecting the competation updares/inforamtion from client Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with sales manager.
  • Update the System for customer's Database and develop customer Order Folders for all customer's inquiries from initial Proposal to final delivery.

  • Creat client data base for oil & Gas, petrochemcial, Fertilizer, CBG, PV project, Green energy (Green Hydrogen, Gray Hydrogen & pinc Hydrogen etc )
  • Arrange the meeting and traing to Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing busness information and engineering and application trends.
  • Assure success in the ambition to grow market share.
  • Conduct forecast review meetings (C4C) and debt collection update meeting with sales Manager.
  • Ensure optimum behaviour and performance of business with the region acting as first point of escalation of business resolution issues.
  • Interact with the VIN (Industrial Vacuum) team to support the development of synergies, the consolidated results of the region and the performance of the Business Area allotted.
  • Manage brand management as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the requirements of the statutory legislation, government regulations and Edwards policies are applied.
  • Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Maintain existing customers with excellent technical support in pre & post bid stages.
  • Develop and maintain close professional relations with branch, dealer, distributor and potential customers to attain goals.
  • Develop and evaluate weekly and monthly business devlopment reports.
  • Monitor bisness development & sales performance against growth objectives.
  • Maintain an up to date record of customer's correspondences and contacts using the systems provided.
  • Direct sales responsibility for all chemical & process sector customers in Noth India.
  • Motivate & support the activities of company agents & distributors as required.
  • To research potential customers, make introductory promotion visits, carry out Technical & Commercial negotiations to achieve set budget targets.
  • Taking the work load for other region as well, when required for company without any condition/reservation.
Dealer Operations Monitoring
  • Identify and appoint dealers in the potential areas to increase the reach for the O&G business
  • Keep them updated with relevant technical and product related information.
  • Track dealer performance to ensure that they are performing all sales activities.
  • Periodic review of dealer activities & performance against growth targets
Receivables
xc2xb7 Follow up on outstanding and other required statutory documents.
xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with bank guarantee, LC procedure.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with CSO and Accounts department for accounts reconciliation.Key Challenges:
  • Requirement to travel extensively within the assigned territory, Handling all Oil & Gas sector client in the terriotry.

  • A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Relevant Previous experience :5+ years experience in capital goods sales like compressor , vacuum pump, Handling O&G segment customers will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge areas/Skills : Value selling, , Building Relationships, Self motivated, business development skills.
  • Other requirements : Energetic/Self driven, Profeincey in English & Local Languages. Ability to travel extensively as required by role
  • Knowledge of vacuum pumping systems (water ring, Oil Lubricated and dry vacuum pumps), chemical processes equipments like heat exchangers, compressors, rotating machinery, reactors, ANFD, RCVD, VTD, WFE, ATFE etc.,
  • Technical Knowledge in Liquid Ring Vacuum and Compressor Systems or similar rotating equipment.
  • Knowldege about the refinery process and petrochemical process/ energal kwoldge about API 6812, API 682, API 610, TEAM Coolers, ATEX,
  • Overall knowledge about Electrical EIC, EX, Hazardous area, IP, and Instrumentation like, ATEX, SIL, FF, Radar type, Hart protocol
  • Analytical techniques and computer literacy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and speaking skill in both Hindi.
  • Good administrative and personal disciplines to handle multi-task, time- constrained activities, driven by customer requirements.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter and motivator with a committed approach to meeting the goals of the division
  • Kowldege about reading & understanding the P&ID of compressros and process package
  • The Sales Engineer must be fully conversant with the territorial/customer requirements to ensure that Edwards vacuum pump products and services are tuned to their needs and to maximise the business and profitability and sustain growth in line with overall company strategy.
  • The Sales Engineer must be able to interact and influence with various other departments like customer value chain team, Systems & Solutions team as well as with all other levels internally and externally in order to forge effective working relationship necessary to grow the business in allotted territory.
  • Presentation skills required to project his/her business plan to management
