Job Summary :

The Education Counselor for Abroad Students is responsible for providing guidance and support to students who wish to pursue their education in foreign countries. This includes helping students choose the right course and institution, assisting with the application process, offering visa and travel advice, and providing ongoing support throughout the student's study abroad experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Student Counseling :
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their educational and career goals.
• Assess students' academic background, interests, and financial situation to suggest suitable study abroad programs and institutions.
• Provide detailed information about courses, universities, and countries, including their education systems, cultural differences, and living conditions.
• Application Assistance :
• Guide students through the application process, including selecting the right institutions, preparing application documents, and meeting deadlines.
• Assist with the preparation of personal statements, resumes, and other application materials.
• Review and edit application documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Visa and Immigration Support :
• Provide up-to-date information on visa requirements for different countries.
• Assist students in preparing and submitting visa applications.
• Offer guidance on immigration procedures, including health insurance, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
• Market Research and Promotion :
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the study abroad sector.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and webinars to promote study abroad programs and recruit prospective students.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and engage potential students.
• Record Keeping and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and counseling sessions.
• Prepare regular reports on student progress, application outcomes, and other relevant metrics.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Education : A Bachelor's degree in related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience : Previous experience in education counseling, especially related to study abroad programs, is highly desirable. Freshers are also welcome to apply.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to students and parents.
• Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and educational institutions.
