Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and driven Education Counselor to join our team and help students achieve their academic and career goals. The Education Counselor will provide guidance, support, and resources to students as they navigate their educational journeys. This role requires a strong understanding of educational programs, admission processes, and career paths, along with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students and address their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students in selecting educational programs that align with their interests, strengths, and career goals
• Assist students with admission processes, including applications, enrollment, and financial aid resources
• Provide information on various academic and vocational courses, program prerequisites, and future career opportunities
• Offer personalized counseling to help students overcome challenges and succeed academically
• Conduct workshops, presentations, and one-on-one sessions on academic planning and career exploration
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, program requirements, and industry developments
• Track and follow up with students to ensure ongoing support and monitor their progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred but not mandatory)
• Prior experience in academic counseling, career advising, or education support roles is a plus
• Strong understanding of educational programs, admission processes, and student support services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic and approachable demeanor
• Ability to build rapport and connect with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
