About the role

Benefits is one of Rippling's largest and most important product categories, and the Benefits Operations team is critical to getting companies enrolled in the right benefits. The team manages tens of thousands of enrollments every year.



Rippling is looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee our in-house EDI operations team responsible for the implementation and maintenance of 834 and proprietary files. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring efficient operations and delivery of outstanding customer experiences through timely file implementation and issue resolution.



This role will require significant engagement across insurance carriers, the EDI Operations team, customers, and internal cross-functional partners, and will have a major impact on the success of Rippling's Benefits platform.

What you will do



Oversee a team of EDI analysts, provide guidance and support to ensure smooth handling of EDI feeds for our growing client base throughout the end-to-end EDI implementation process as well as post production support. Track adherence to team SLAs, response times, and quality benchmarks, addressing any gaps or issues proactively. Act as the primary point of contact with insurance carriers, customers, and brokers to resolve escalations and complex issues related to EDI transactions. Provide consistent and quality coaching and constructive feedback to team members. Contribute to new process design, improvement of existing processes, and creation of new standard operating procedures.

What you will need


----------------------

5+ years of experience in EDI file transmissions (834 files and proprietary files) and enrollment/member eligibility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Proven ability to mentor and develop a team, with a focus on coaching, feedback, and performance management. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Strong project management and organizational skills: good attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution. Strong research and process improvement skills.

This job requires you to work from 12:00 PM to 9:30PM IST This is a hybrid role and will require you to work out our Bangalore office three days a week.
