Job Description

The E-commerce Merchant is responsible for managing the online sales channels, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer experience. The role involves product management, pricing strategy, platform coordination, marketing initiatives, and operational oversight to ensure seamless e-commerce transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Product and Inventory Management :
• Select, manage, and update product listings on e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate and appealing.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Sales and Revenue Growth :
• Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Analyze sales data and identify trends to optimize pricing and promotions.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns to boost traffic and conversion rates.
• Platform Management :
• Manage product listings and operations on platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or custom websites.
• Ensure compliance with platform policies and standards.
• Coordinate with account managers of marketplace platforms to enhance store visibility.
• Customer Engagement :
• Monitor customer reviews and feedback to address concerns and improve satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to drive repeat purchases and loyalty.
• Performance Analysis :
• Use analytics tools to monitor traffic, sales performance, and user behavior.
• Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and improve performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration :
• Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop promotional content.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
• Experience : 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce or retail, with a proven track record of driving online sales.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

• Revenue and sales growth percentage.
• Conversion rates and customer retention metrics.
• Inventory turnover and stock availability.
• Performance on platform-specific metrics (e.g., seller ratings, product rankings).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
