Job Description

As a Business Development Executive for Ecommerce Marketplace Sales Operations, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our products on major ecommerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. You will develop and execute strategies to increase sales, optimize listings, manage relationships with marketplace partners, and ensure the smooth operation of our ecommerce activities. Your goal will be to maximize revenue and enhance the visibility of our products on these platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets on ecommerce marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.

o Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Marketplace Management:

o Manage and optimize product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to enhance visibility and sales.

o Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

o Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and coordinate with logistics teams as needed.

3. Relationship Building:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers and support teams.

o Negotiate and manage promotional activities, deals, and advertising campaigns on ecommerce platforms.

4. Performance Analysis:

o Monitor sales performance and key metrics, such as conversion rates, sales rankings, and customer reviews.

o Prepare regular sales reports and present insights and recommendations to management.

5. Customer Experience:

o Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring and addressing customer feedback and reviews.

o Resolve any issues related to orders, returns, and product quality promptly and effectively.

6. Marketing and Promotions:

o Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including sponsored ads, deals, and discounts to drive traffic and sales.

o Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotions that align with overall brand strategy.

7. Compliance and Policies:

o Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, guidelines, and legal requirements.

o Stay updated on changes in marketplace policies and adjust strategies accordingly.

8. Continuous Improvement:

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sales performance.

o Stay informed about industry trends, new tools, and best practices in ecommerce sales operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in ecommerce sales operations, preferably with marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.

Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, listing optimization, and online sales strategies.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in using ecommerce tools and software, such as Seller Central, Vendor Central, and other marketplace management tools.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in digital marketing and advertising on ecommerce platforms.

Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.

Familiarity with SEO and PPC strategies for ecommerce.

Work Environment:

Occasional travel may be required to meet with marketplace representatives or attend industry events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
