The E-commerce Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the online store, ensuring seamless order processing, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills to support the growth and efficiency of the e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
Monitor and manage the processing of customer orders from placement to delivery.
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
Resolve order-related issues such as cancellations, returns, and refunds.
Inventory Management:
Track stock levels and coordinate restocking to avoid inventory shortages.
Conduct regular inventory audits and update the system accordingly.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time procurement.
Product Listings:
Upload and maintain accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing on the e-commerce platform.
Optimize product listings for SEO and visibility.
Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and policies.
Performance Analysis:
Track sales performance and generate weekly/monthly reports.
Analyze customer behavior and sales trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Monitor and improve conversion rates on the platform.
Customer Service Support:
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Work closely with the customer support team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Platform Management:
Manage promotional campaigns, including discounts, offers, and seasonal sales.
Ensure the website or marketplace is running smoothly, and escalate technical issues when necessary.
Collaboration:
Work with marketing, design, and sales teams to enhance the e-commerce experience.
Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile payments and transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a similar role.
Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Magento).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Familiarity with inventory management tools and CRM systems.
Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO is a plus.
