Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and Optimize the Online Store : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon's eCommerce store, ensuring products are listed accurately, descriptions are compelling, and inventory is well-managed.
• Curate Product Offerings : Select and list salon-related products for retail, including hair care products (shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes, styling tools) and facial treatments (cleansers, masks, serums, exfoliators).
• Content Creation & Product Descriptions : Write persuasive and SEO-friendly product descriptions for haircare, skincare, and styling tools that resonate with our target customers.
• Sales Strategy & Promotions : Develop and execute strategies to promote online sales, including discounts, bundles, gift sets, seasonal promotions, and exclusive offers for online shoppers.
• Customer Engagement : Interact with customers online to provide personalized product recommendations, answer queries, and handle concerns related to products or online orders.
• Inventory Management : Work closely with the inventory team to track stock levels, re-order products, and ensure the store is always stocked with best-sellers.
• Market Trends and Competitor Research : Stay up-to-date with trends in the beauty and wellness industry, including new haircare products, popular hair colors, and skincare innovations, to maintain an attractive product offering.
• Social Media Integration : Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage social media platforms for product promotions, cross-sell services (e.g., "Add a facial treatment with your haircut"), and drive traffic to the online store.
• Analyze Performance : Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, eCommerce platform reports) to monitor product performance, conversion rates, and sales trends. Use this data to refine product listings and marketing strategies.
• Customer Reviews & Feedback : Encourage and manage customer reviews for both products and services to build trust and improve the overall online shopping experience.
• Shipping & Returns : Oversee order fulfillment, including working with logistics partners, tracking shipments, and managing returns or exchanges in line with the salon's policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience : 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, or digital marketing, preferably in the beauty, wellness, or salon industry.
• Skills :
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
• Expertise in SEO, digital marketing, and social media marketing
• Ability to write compelling product descriptions with attention to detail
• Experience with analytics tools to track website performance and customer behavior
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
