Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transaction Management:

Overseeing online sales transactions, managing accounts, and processing payments.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (like GAAP) and relevant regulations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting to predict financial performance.

Inventory Management:

Tracking inventory levels and managing inventory costs.

Tax Compliance:

Managing sales taxes, income taxes, and other relevant taxes.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations.

Software Proficiency:

Using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to manage financial data.

Collaboration:

Working with other departments (e.g., sales, operations) to ensure accurate financial records.
Skills and Qualifications:

Accounting Knowledge:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.

E-commerce Specific Knowledge:

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and tax regulations related to online sales.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights.
