Job Title: Echo Technician (Echocardiography Technician)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Technician to perform diagnostic echocardiograms (ultrasound exams of the heart) on patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images and assisting physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a clinical or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TTE, TEE, and Stress Echo). Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures, explain the process, and address any concerns. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Record and analyze cardiac data, recognizing abnormalities and reporting findings to cardiologists. Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Stay updated with the latest advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques.
