Job Title: Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technician

Experience Level: 02 - 05 Years

Work Location: Electronic City

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform Echocardiograms:

- Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).

- Utilize Doppler and color Doppler techniques to assess heart function and blood flow.

- Perform stress echocardiography as needed.

2. Patient Preparation:

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.

- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images.

- Apply gel to the patient's chest and operate the ultrasound equipment.

3. Image Quality and Analysis:

- Capture high-quality images and ensure clarity for accurate diagnosis.

- Measure and analyze heart structures and functions, including chamber sizes, wall thickness, and valve function.

- Document findings and provide preliminary reports to physicians.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly.

- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

5. Patient Records and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

- Input data into electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cardiologists & nurses

- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
