:This position is with EAII Advisors, Evidence Action\'s technical partner in India.Position OverviewJob Title: Sr. Manager, Procurement and Contracts ManagementEmployment Status: Fixed Term EmploymentTerm: 1 yearLocation: New DelhiAbout the PositionEAII Advisors is seeking Sr. Manager, Procurement and Contracts with project management skills to join its Operations Team. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Operations, the Sr. Manager will be adept at learning the needs of program teams and other user-departments, translating those needs into efficient procurement plans while anticipating and troubleshooting for any challenges. you will need to coach staff through the procurement process, and ultimately ensure procurements and contracts are meticulously executed.You will work across program, finance, and operations teams to help ensure sustainable systems are in place to manage all operational and financial resources. This position will manage two staff members.Responsibilities:Procurement and Contracts Management\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure implementation of comprehensive control systems for all procurements and contracts specifically for the India Safe Water Now program, along with other ongoing programs.\xe2\x97\x8f Establish procurement processes in all new locations to support program expansion and ensure compliance with procurement policies, performance measurement of vendors / agencies at field, with support from the Deputy Director, Operations.\xe2\x97\x8f Develop RFPs (Request for Proposal) in collaboration with the user department, manage the complete procurement process, including indication of desired timelines to all involved, address queries, suggest solutions/ideas and documenting, at various stages.\xe2\x97\x8f Act as point of contact for vendors and lead on any troubleshooting, escalating issues as required.\xe2\x97\x8f Provide guidance on invoices from different vendors and will work as a functional bridge with vendors and internal stakeholders.\xe2\x97\x8f Map, review, and update procurement and contracting timelines, anticipating bottlenecks during planning stages and offer potential solutions.\xe2\x97\x8f Track deliverables, management of all vendors/agencies on board, and compile the expenses inputs to have cost effectiveness.Project Management\xe2\x97\x8f Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure all user departments understand the procurement and contracting process prior to creation of statements of work;\xe2\x97\x8f Analysing financial information to keep projects on track, and collaborating with different departments to ensure all leads and involved team members understand where a project is in the development process and its status.\xe2\x97\x8f Review and refine all procurement policies, procedures and tools and ensure they are meeting company standards, adhere to budgets and meet deadlines.\xe2\x97\x8f Effective documentation for project / process creation, development and execution as well as the project\'s scope budget and justificationsRequirements:Essential Qualifications, Experience and CompetenciesEssential\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s Degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of relevant work experience.\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\xe2\x97\x8f Previous experience managing a team.\xe2\x97\x8f Comfortable in proactive and open communicating and understanding project management\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated strong procurement and operational skills.\xe2\x97\x8f Advanced literacy in Excel.\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to multitask and track multiple projects and deadlines.\xe2\x97\x8f Power Point Presentation Skills\xe2\x97\x8f Open to Travel as and when needed (estimated of 10% of the time)Disclaimer: The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time.Benefits:Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with the individual\'s credentials, experience, and previous pay scale.About EAII AdvisorsEAII Advisors, Evidence Action\'s technical partner in India, supports the implementation of the school and Anganwadi-based National Deworming Day program, as well as iron and folic acid supplementation programs, across 11 states by providing technical assistance to applicable state ministries of health, education, and women and child development. Recent evidence highlights that water treatment may be among the most cost-effective interventions available to save young children\'s lives, reducing all-cause child mortality by about 25%. The Dispensers for Safe Water (DSW) program, based on research by a Nobel-winning economist, utilizes an innovative and human-centric design to deliver clean water at the source in rural settings, achieving usage rates which are 5x that of comparable interventions. Evidence Action recently launched a next generation technology, In-Line Chlorination (ILC) in Uganda and Malawi, targeting rural, peri-urban, and urban communities, which has the potential to be even more cost-effective.
