:This position is with EAII Advisors, Evidence Action's technical partner in India.About EAII AdvisorsEAII Advisors, Evidence Action's technical partner in India, supports the implementation of the school and Anganwadi-based National Deworming Day program, as well as iron and folic acid supplementation programs, across 11 states by providing technical assistance to applicable state ministries of health, education, and women and child development. Moving forward, EAII Advisors aims to expand its impact by collaborating with more state governments on these existing programs, as well as supporting new public health, water, & nutrition programming.About Evidence ActionAt Evidence Action, we deliver data-driven interventions that transform lives at an unprecedented scale. Recent evidence highlights that water treatment may be among the most cost-effective interventions available to save young children's lives, reducing all-cause child mortality by about 25%. The Dispensers for Safe Water (DSW) program, based on research by a Nobel-winning economist, utilizes an innovative and human-centric design to deliver clean water at the source in rural settings, achieving usage rates which are 5x that of comparable interventions. Evidence Action recently launched a next generation technology, In-Line Chlorination (ILC) in Uganda and Malawi, targeting rural, peri-urban, and urban communities, which has the potential to be even more cost-effective. Over the past year, we've more than in East Africa and are actively exploring opportunities for expansion into new countries.In addition to its longstanding work in East Africa, Evidence Action, through its technical partner in India, EAII Advisors, is launching a major technical assistance program to help the government of India reach 17.5 million people across multiple states with safe water. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to play a critical role in shaping our workforce and ensuring we attract top-tier talent to fuel our mission.In this role, you'll lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering closely with department heads and hiring managers to build a strong talent pipeline. You'll have the opportunity to design and implement innovative sourcing strategies, optimize recruitment processes, and enhance our employer brand to attract exceptional candidates.This position requires a strategic mindset, a hands-on approach, and a drive to build scalable recruitment frameworks that will support our continued growth. While the role does not currently involve managing a team, you will lay the foundation for an evolving talent acquisition function.Responsibilities:Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning (15%)xc2xb7 Partner with department heads to determine future talent needs and build a sourcing strategy to attract high-quality candidates.xc2xb7 Regular syncs with Hiring Managers and leadership to align on recruitment priorities, hiring plans, and challenges.xc2xb7 Guide hiring managers on KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) for roles, interview structures, and performance evaluation best practices.xc2xb7 Follow performance metrics and benchmarks to measure recruitment success, ensuring hiring turnaround times meet the metrics.End-to-End Recruitment Execution (50%)xc2xb7 Manage the full recruitment cycle for at least 12-15 India-based roles, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and offer management.xc2xb7 Ensure efficient processing and timely communication throughout the recruitment cycle.xc2xb7 Develop diverse candidate pipelines by leveraging multiple talent channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, and referrals.xc2xb7 Utilize Workable (ATS) effectively, ensuring hiring managers are trained to use the platform efficiently.xc2xb7 Periodically audit and improve recruiting processes through feedback loops.xc2xb7 Keep up with labor regulations and ensure compliance with hiring policies.Employer Branding & Talent Engagement (15%)xc2xb7 Collaborate with the People and Culture team to lead initiatives to enhance Evidence Action's employer brand in India, ensuring we attract the right talent.xc2xb7 Participate in networking events, discussion forums, and other employer branding initiatives to strengthen visibility in the talent market.xc2xb7 Provide insights on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent competition to inform leadership on hiring strategies.Reporting & Process Improvement (20%)xc2xb7 Provide weekly recruitment updates to hiring managers and department heads, ensuring transparency in hiring progress.xc2xb7 Maintain accurate and organized recruitment documentation, including job descriptions, hiring plan templates, and process guidelines.xc2xb7 Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment practices.xc2xb7 Research and recommend the best job advertising platforms and sourcing tools to optimize recruitment efforts.Requirements:Qualifications, Experience and Competenciesxc2xb7 Bachelor's degree in HR or related field - additional HR qualification will be an added advantagexc2xb7 8+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a high-growth organization, within the social impact sector. INGO experience will be an added advantagexc2xb7 Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align recruitment efforts with business objectivesxc2xb7 Experience in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing end-to-end recruitment processesxc2xb7 Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and influence recruitment decisionsxc2xb7 Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Workable preferred), Microsoft Excel, and reporting dashboardsxc2xb7 Strong knowledge of labor regulations and experience managing full-cycle recruiting is essential.
