Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Purpose of the position The role is responsible for Design verification and validations of -E drives, AUX Converters for Passenger cars and commercial vehicle applications , DVP Conformance & report Generations for E Drives , Aux Converters Education Work Experience Key Responsibility & Key Tasks 1.Main Activities a.E Drives /AUX Drive Model Generations - Motor /Controller / Inverter b.Digital verifications / validations to finalise System requirements c.EMC /ENV Conformances and DVP Finalisations for E Drive and AUX Drives d.Bench Level and Dyno Level validations and report generation e.Evaluation of Model Performances f.Learning captured and Improvement activities for E Drive and AUX Drive applications 2.Other Activities a.Active participation in Vehicle trials and Calibrations for Traction Drives / Aux Drives b.Representation in VA VE , QRM forums for Traction Drives / Aux Drives c.Liaise with supplier for Field quality issues Education Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Work Experience 1.5-7 years\' relevant experience. 2.Knowledge of CAN Tools and Power Electronics and Drives Test equipment 3.CAN Protocol (CAN 2.A and 2.B) and UDS (14229-1) Knowledge 4.HV / Electrical systems troubleshooting techniques 5.Knowledge about Motor/INV Model creations -pref .using ANSYS & MATLAB 6.Handling Design Quality , Field Quality issues 7.Use of Quality tools -8D , FTA , Fish Bone , YY Analysis ,PDCA etc 8.Knowledge of EMI/EMC Ref Standards and Tests requirements for EV application Tags Electric Vehicles, Drives , Power Electronics Tata Motors Leadership Competencies Customer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectations Developing Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excel Driving Execution - Translating strategy into action and execution Leading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standards Leading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to change Motivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals Functional Competencies Tags
