Job Description

The individual will be responsible for EXIM operations, customs clearance and freight forwarding. The individual also performs freight and customs documentation and liaises with stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and shipment of cargo.This position is responsible to lead manage exports and import at the most competitive cost, providing the best service to internal and external customers. This position is also responsible for develop export/import related to logistics vendor, verification and approval invoicing and management Information System (MIS).

• Expertise to handle End to End export shipments like starting from planning, executions, documentation, dispatches, custom clearance and post shipment activities till to the e-BRC.
• Expertise in independently handling various exports schemes like EPCG, Advance, RoDTEP and Duty Drawback etc..
• Expertise in SCOMET license application to obtain the license.
• Provide timely feedback and update to customer service and supply chain management in case of unusual delays expected.
• Maintaining the MIS/DSR and communicate with stake holder time to time.
• Good knowledge to handle end to end import shipment like starting from appointing forwarder, verification of documents, check list approval, duty payment until to the delivery of goods.
• Good knowledge of various import polices, rules and regulations to check custom compliance requirements before the executions of imports.
• Good knowledge of intercompany import procedure.
• Provide timely feedback and update to supply chain management in case of unusual delays expected.
• Maintaining the MIS/DSR and communicate with stake holder time to time.
